My roommate has been working so hard on her best friend’s baby shower. She used Pinterest to get ideas! Check out this cuteness:

Update!

To Pinterest or not, that was the question! The answer to that question was: Heck yeah! I was super overwhelmed at first, but now I’m slightly addicted. Pinterest is a website where you create bulletin boards. You can keep up with recipes, dream home ideas, sewing ideas, favorite movies or books and so on. It is very overwhelming at first, but it. is. awesome. I’ve found lots of great gift ideas, sewing ideas, book suggestions and recipes.

Sneak Peek!

Last week I went to Nabeels with my mom and her closest friends. After eating a delicious meal with lots of feta (yum), we went to paint pottery. Here’s a sneak peek of my pottery, pre-firing.

To Pinterest or Not…

That is the question. Pinterest seems cool, but do I really want another online/socialish networking obligation? Anyone out there use Pinterest?

>Lima Beans!

>Ok, here’s my first lima bean wreath. I’m currently working on a bigger one for the front door. It’s going to be a lovely shade of citron!

Here’s the wreath in it’s pre painted phase. I thought about leaving it au naturale, but you could see the styrofoam through it. The current wreath that I’m working on is a wreath made out of hay and even though I’m painting it, I think it would look super cool to leave the beans unpainted with some of the hay peeking through.

Finished product! It’s not really as Christmassy as I originally planned, but I dig it!

A word to the wise, if you are going to spray paint the wreath, spray paint the wreath prior to putting the wreath together and then do another layer of paint after you have glued the beans. I think that would make it a little easier to get paint in every nook.
